Fiserv to Assist Lenders with New Payroll Protection Program

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, last month the federal government created a new program to help small businesses keep people working.  A key benefit of the program (to both businesses and their employees) is that the loan can be completely forgiven if the proceeds are used to maintain staffing levels (for an 8 week period).  Interest in the program is extremely high and lending institutions need help to meet demand.  Fiserv has created a “one-click”  application process through familiar websites, banking portals and their Clover Platform.  This will help lenders process and approve loans and get funding to where it is needed most.   Click here to read more.
