The COVID-19 pandemic has tested the emergency preparedness preparation of every single business in the United States, but none more than nursing homes and long-term care facilities. One of the major identified issues is the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In partnership with the Greater New York Health Care Facilities Association (GNYHCFA), please join us for a special webinar on “Personal Protective Equipment and Preparedness Planning During a Pandemic” on Thursday, August 27th at 11:00 am EST.

Along with Michael Balboni, President and Managing Director of RedLand Strategies and Executive Director of GNYHCFA, we will be joined by:

  • Sandra Beattie, Deputy Director of the New York State Division of Budget
  • Jim Sherry, Executive Vice President at RedLand Strategies
  • Mary Gracey-White, Director of Regulatory Compliance at GNYHCFA, and;
  • John Gibb, the former Director of the New York State Office of Emergency Management and currently Strategic Emergency Management Advisor at RedLand Strategies

On behalf of the New York State Department of Health, Sandra Beattie will discuss the future of Medicaid funding and the development and evolution of the nursing home PPE requirement.
