In his keynote address at the Long Island Cyber Conference hosted by Suffolk County Community College on June 9, 2017, Michael Balboni discussed the most devastating cyberattacks in history and explained that healthcare institutions, in particular, are frequently the target of hackers because medical data can be easily monetized.
