More Long Islanders concerned about terror attacks (News 12)
Homeland Security expert Michael Balboni says it’s understandable for Long Islanders who lived through Sept. 11 to be on alert about terrorism, especially with the ongoing conflict with Islamic State militants.
“We live in an age of risk. We live in an age of an asymmetrical, non-state actor threat. So, it’s about knowing where you are, having situational awareness,” said Balboni.
